The investigation into household dysfunction as a variable in regards to predicting criminal behaviour is interesting and I haven’t given it thought before until now. Perhaps one of the reasons household dysfunction influences criminality more than an ACE is because it includes additional traumatic/stressful experiences an ACE quiz may not be able to fully capture (e.g. a ruptured relationship where a caregiver is still at home).
I’m wondering, what do you think the main causes of household dysfunction are?

This is interesting, we’re usually taught that childhood abuse affects how the child grows up, but this shines a light on how serious household dysfunction can affect how a child will grow up too (even if the child isn’t directly harmed)
